Do you have a new product or service ready for use in the NHS?

We connect, entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and big business with those working in the health and care system, voluntary sector and public health.

Funded by NHS England, NHS Improvement and the Government’s Office for Life Sciences, health innovation networks are the innovation arm of the NHS.

If you have a product or service ready for use in the NHS or you need some support to scale up, we can help ‘bridge the gap’. We help companies through the healthcare maze, saving them time and money, and help them understand how the system works.

What we do

The ‘Bridging the Gap’ team provides workshops, one-to-one advice sessions and unique networking opportunities to support you to navigate the healthcare landscape. We can help in the following areas:

Access to NHS Markets

We connect, entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and big business with those working in the health and care system, voluntary sector and public health. Helping companies navigate organisational complexity, opening doors to new markets and improving services for patients.

Support and Specialist Advice

The health system is complex, and it can be difficult to know where to get the help. We offer support and advice to companies and innovators  to develop a successful product or service launch.

Signposting to Funding

We can direct you to a range of local and national funding opportunities offering investment at all stages of product and service development – from early stages through to testing and commercialisation.

Access to National Programmes

Health innovation networks work with the NHS and government to run a range of national programmes that can provide routes to market for companies.

Who we are

‘Bridging the Gap’ identify, test and spread new and better ways to save money and improve services for patients by connecting health and social care, industry, researchers and the voluntary sector. There is a challenge for health and social care staff to see what technologies are available. Similarly, there’s a challenge for product and technology developers (industry) to know what’s needed.
